Cookies on this site
This page explains the cookies and similar storage used on https://kernelstreamhub.digital. It should be read with the privacy notice. The controller is Kernelstreamhub Analytics, Level 8, 24 Rustaveli Street, Batumi 6010.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small piece of data a site stores in your browser so it can remember a fact — for example, that you already answered a banner. Local storage is a related mechanism in the same browser. We use local storage for the consent choice described below.
Types we use
Essential. Needed to remember that you accepted or rejected the banner, so it does not trap you on every page. The site’s pages, contact form, and analyses remain available if you reject.
Analytics. Used only if you press Accept. These help us see which public pages are read (for example, whether the case-file drawer is opened). They are not required to send a brief.
We do not use advertising cookies.
Table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| kernelstreamhub_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject so the banner can stay quiet. Essential. | Until you clear site data for this domain (local storage, not an expiry cookie). | Kernelstreamhub Analytics (this site) |
| kernelstreamhub_analytics | Records coarse page counts if you accepted analytics. Not set on Reject. | 13 months if accepted; not set otherwise. | Kernelstreamhub Analytics (this site) |
How to accept, reject, or change your mind
The banner offers Accept and Reject with equal weight. Your choice is stored under the brand-prefixed key kernelstreamhub_cookie_consent. Rejecting does not block reading, navigation, or the contact form.
To change a choice, clear stored data for kernelstreamhub.digital in your browser and reload; the banner will return. You may also disable cookies entirely in the browser. If you disable all storage, the banner may appear on each visit because the essential preference cannot be saved.
Third parties
Fonts are requested from Google Fonts when a page loads. Google may receive your IP address as part of that request. That is a third-party connection, not a cookie we set. The host of the static site may set its own technical cookies; those would appear in your browser’s storage panel under the hosting name.
Effect of disabling
Essential preference storage is the only storage we require for comfort. Without it the banner returns. Without analytics we simply do not count public page reads. Commissioned work does not depend on cookies.
